Who We Are                       What We Believe                   What We Do

What We Do

Faith Crossing is guided by three key Bible verses, Matthew 17:20, Luke 10:27, and Matthew 28:19-20.
The verses read as follows:

Matthew 17:20 - Jesus replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Luke 10:27 - Jesus answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Matthew 28:19-20 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Worship - "Love God"
We believe that everything we do ought to be done with love for God. Worship is our way of recognizing God's love for us and our gratitude to God. Worship is the right response to a God who is Holy, Just and Loving.

Ministry - "Love Your Neighbor"
Because God loved us first, we can and must love each other. We love our neighbor by sharing the love and grace of God in effective and compassionate ways. The greatest gift you can give to another person is Agape love – love that asks for nothing in return.

Mission - "Go, Make Disciples"
Our mission as Christians is to make disciples. Which means more than just bringing people to church, it means sharing the fullness of Christ with our neighbors. There is always room for one more in the body of Christ.

Fellowship - "Baptizing Them"
By baptizing we mean the opening of the door into Christ's church. Baptism is a symbol of belonging to Christ. As members we believe that we have been placed in community to invite, inspire, and encourage one another.  The ultimate example of Christian community ought to be the church.

Education - "Teach Them to Obey"
Because the Christian life is an ongoing journey we believe that we ought to be growing everyday a step closer toward God. Through discipline, study, and prayer God blesses his people.
